As a matter of policy, we immediately suspend a Linode's network connectivity when a customer is found to be hosting CSAM material. Since we can't immediately verify if your Linode is hosting CSAM, as a courtesy, we will not be placing restrictions on your Linode at this time.
However, if we don't hear from you in 24 hours regarding this complaint, we will need to consider placing restrictions on your Linode to ensure that this type of content is not being served.
Please contact us as soon as possible to confirm that you've investigated this issue and whether or not you've had to report CSAM content to the NCMEC via cybertip.org.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
As we haven't heard back from you regarding this issue, we've been forced to apply network restrictions to your Linode to prevent further abuse.
The network restrictions in place at this time will affect all traffic. These restrictions will prevent all access to any website that you have hosted on the Linode as well as prevent you from accessing your Linode via SSH.
The following post from our Community Questions site has information on how to investigate and resolve these issues when there are network restrictions on your Linode:
How do I fix a Linode with network restrictions in place?
Once we're confident that this issue has been resolved, we'll be glad to consider removing the restrictions.
